Description:

Please read the description first, this may answer some of your problems, thanks. 🙂

I’ve tried to add ancient ruins in these maps but I failed. It seems that maps in a map mod can’t have ancient ruins. If you have the solution to this problem, please contact me, thanks!

This mod is a updated version of my mod "Accurate Europe Map". If you want to see the old version, go to here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1571888235

ATTENTION: The maps with scenarios requires DLCs (I’ve listed them). Make sure that you have all of them to play the scenario, or some civs would be replaced by others and some resources may not appear.
If you don’t have the DLCs, there’s another vanilla version of the map (without scenario).

You can find the maps in the "Additional Map" list. Their names begin with a "E".
Thanks to @Khorps , the problem of map not showing have been fixed.

Please forgive me if there’re stupid mistakes in the description. 🙂
Please rate if you like my mod! Thanks! 🙂

This mod contains a huge map of Europe (much bigger than the image shows, actually I’ve forgotten the size of it, maybe 149*130) with accurate resource location. I referred to the transverse Mercator projection (and the 20E meridian is in the middle) so the view of this map may be a little different to those maps referring to the Mercator projection.

I referred to maps downloaded from the network to make this map. It took me several weeks to finish the work ,and another several weeks to improve it. My work aren’t totally accurate, so there may be some small mistakes. I didn’t create any canals in the map, however, the maps I had refferred to included reservoirs in Russia and I had no choice but to create them in my map.

I refferred to a topographic map to create plains (sometimes stand for plateau and some high plains), hills and mountains (mostly over 2000 to 3000 meters). I use coast to represent those areas higher than sea depth of 100 meters (some areas are adjusted for balancing. I use atolls to reoresent some groups of islands.

I added lots of resources to the map. The locations of most of minerals and luxuries are nearly accurate. The quantities of strategic resources are also close to the reality. For the agricultural resources (wheat, sheep, etc.), I referred to the agriculture types in modern European countries.

There’re three natural wonders in the map, you can have a try to find them. 🙂

There’s a scenario with the map which contains 22 civs (TSL) and 40 city states (include nearly all the capitals of european countries at present with TSL too). Some city states have the wrong name(such as Wittenberg represent Luxembourg) because there aren’t correct city states in game to fit Belarus,Norway and many other countries, but I’ve set all the city names right.

I’ve added all the four game speeds for the scenario. If you want to play a scenario with a game speed, such as the "Marathon" speed, you need to browse maps in the "Additional Map" list and choose the map with the name of "Marathon" and then choose "Play Scenario".

I didn’t do much balance work, but I did add some features for several civs and added a HIDDEN BONUS in the map to simulate some history events.

More suggestions are needed to make this map better (though I have little time to update the mod since I’m still in high school). And I do hope you can make more amazing mods on the basis of my map. 🙂

Subscribe this and have fun! Thanks! 🙂
