Description:

We are proud to announce our newest collection and our first in the Carboniferous era. With your help, we can complete our studies and bring back these ancient animals.

The focus of this collection is Bear Gulch Bay, a bay on the western coast of Pangea, between 318 and 328 million years ago. Many species of fish took advantage of Bear Gulch Bay’s sheltered location to breed and let their young hide in the muddy shallows among the algae and sponges that grew there. As such, we’ll be making available both the male and female forms of some of the animals included in this collection.

This collection is intended for most aquariums, save for the most inexperienced. In addition to observational data sent to us, you’ll also have to attain rank 3 before we’ll make the first animals available.

Animals under study:
Aesopichthys erinaceus
Allenypterus montanus
Belantsea montana
Echinochimaera meltoni
Edestus heinrichii
Falcatus falcatus
Harpagofututor volsellorhinus
Hardistiella montanensis
Lepidasterella montanensis
Paratarrasius hibbardi
Squatinactis montanus
Stethacanthus productus
Thrinacoselache gracia
Tyrannophontes theridion
Wendyichthys lautreci
