Artificialis – Cretaceous Collection
We’ve reached the final era of the Mesozoic with our studies and the last 100 million years of Earth’s history. With your help, we can complete our studies and bring back these ancient animals.
The focus of this collection is on the coastal rivers and mangrove swamps at the Bahariya Formation and Kem Kem beds, between 92 and 98 million years ago. North Africa was a warm wet region bordering a shallow tropical sea and was home to one of the most dangerous ecosystems in history, with some of the most massive carnivores ever to roam the planet.
This collection is intended for most aquariums, with the only criteria being rank 3 in addition to observational data. As well, some of the creatures under study will need specialty beach tanks.
