Description:

Perhaps the most difficult map of all that I have ever done. The reason is not really in detailing, more like in order to push out this quality in Source – you need to go through seven circles of hell. It all started from reducing the entities and props for passing into an appropriate limit, and I also had to modify the map structure, since gmod / source engine does not like open spaces at all. Even at release of the map in workshop I encountered difficulties that gma archive was randomly damaged due to 2+gb, fortunately I managed to reduce size of the map without much visible changes. A lot of effort and time was spent on this map. Nevertheless, those who are waiting for this map have finally received it.

The map is pretty intense, so you can have friezes, crashes, bsod, hdd formatting, pc explosion, alien abduction – I’m not responsible for all this, but I give recommendations on how to avoid it.

Garry’s Mod x64 is recommended, not a mandatory, but still if you want a stable game on this map, then:

2. gmod_mcore_test 1 gives 2x increase in performance in almost all cases.

3. Recommended 2GB or more of video memory on ultra settings.

4. This map does not work with Software / DirectX 8 rendering. DirectX 9 only

5. r_radiosity 4 is recommended. By default Garry’s Mod has a value of 3 for some reason, and this affects the lighting of some props, such as doors, dynamic props, etc.

The map has a built-in lua[pastebin.com] script to fix these problems, it also fixes the constant volume of opening doors in multiplayer and some playing parts. If you do not have any particles, sounds from the doors, then most likely it did not work, and you have some addons that block them.

Q: AI Nodes / Navmesh?
A: Yep & Nope. After 20 hours of navmesh generation my gmod crashed, is it worth it? In any case, if someone tries – I will embed it in the map

Q: Can I use this map on an ultra awesome optimized rp-compliant even in the corners of the map where no one monitors it and with fast loading?
A: Yes you can use this map on an ultra awesome optimized rp-compliant even in the corners of the map where no one monitors it and with fast loading

Q: How many fps do you have on this map and on what system?
A: 90-250 depending on map location, AMD Phenom II 1045T, GTX 1050 Ti, 16GB RAM

Q: How long does this map take you to load?
A: 40 seconds with SSD, 120 seconds with HDD

Q: What will be published out on patreon?
A: Depending on the count of subscriptions I will abstract of and make some beauty

A lot of people helped me for this project, I don’t remember exactly all of them. I will list those who have contributed to project the most:

Shawn Olson – creator of WallWorm[discord.gg], fixed bugs related to wallworm, gave advice, etc. Thank you :3

Rubat – Commit my requests related to Garry’s Mod. Not all of them, but still thanks very much!

Maksim Ruksha[github.com] – Moral / financial support, helped with ideas, also made VMFZoo to parse / count the number of unique props on the map.

Gormid – Moral / financial support, helped with some ideas.

.DEXTER – Moral / financial support, helped with lua for the map.

Zakhar – Helped with writing lua macros for baking reflections probes for puddles

Mark2580 – Helped with pulling out the original mesh with gta v, insisted on some changes, like a new train system, nagging me on visual issues that no one would notice c:

Jora – Helped with writing the future toolkit (MjolnirSDK) for parsing resources from vmf files

Thank you so much for waiting, for still subscribing to me. I also have my own Patreon if you want to support me.

I would appreciate a subscription, thanks
