Evil Ryu
Evil Ryu is a mix of a Powerhouse and a Shoto. He is a very powerful character. His attacks do heavy damage and high knockback. Similar to Ryu, Evil Ryu has combo potential. He has many inputs and combos that blend together making him a devastating opponent and a great character to play as. Evil Ryu is a difficult character to master due to his many inputs. Evil Ryu uses his aerials to get the opponent into position for a ground combo. His neutral air is an opener into a down tilt shoryuken combo. Down tilt is an opener into an up tilt shoryuken combo. If an aerial is missed trying to do an opener, he can be left vulnerable and open to high damage. Evil Ryu is easily launched and needs to avoid attacks and be precise in his attacks to survive and overpower his opponents. Evil Ryu has many combos and many coming. He is still in development, and he is subject to change. In the Xarendian Direct, his release date was revealed to be June 23, 2023.
