The Shirasagi was a torpedo boat of the JMSDF in the latter half of 1946, based on the Otori-Class but slightly larger. It significantly streamlined the hull design to expedite construction speed and reduce costs.
In contrast to its predecessors, it incorporated an entirely new armament, significantly enhancing its anti-aircraft capabilities, and adopted diesel engines, improving fuel efficiency and endurance.
Note: In this exaggerated version, the significant increase in the number of torpedo tubes might lead to instability during navigation. As a result, it requires the injection of ballast water to enhance stability (albeit at the cost of decreased maneuverability).
