What this does?
This mod completely reworks Chaos Space Marines (mostly infantry). Here is a compressed list of changes:
Marks in their previous from are removed. All ChaosSpaceMarines infantry units (except cult units) and Helbrutes now receive 2 abilities, each for a Chaos God. These abilities are unlocked by Marks tech (all in t3 and t4) and cost resources. This is the example of such ability:
Chaos Space Marine
Mark Of Nurgle: Unit turns into a Nurgle Space Marine, who receives a mark and wields chemcannons, which are great against light infantry
Mark Of Tzeentch: Unit turns into a Tzeentch Space Marine, who wields powerful plasma guns, which are great against armoured infantry.
List of Marks:
Nurgle: CSM, Helbrute, Obliterator
Tzeentch: CSM, Havoc
Khorne: Berzerker, WarpTalon, Obliterator, Helbrute
Slaanesh: Berzerker, Havoc
Chaos Lords Have access to all 4 marks.
Tech tree has been reworked, now boons are easier to get.
Overall, playing with Chaos feels much more diverse and fun like that. But give me your feedback, as this mod is WIP
Latest Changelog (0.8.0)
Rituals:
Now all chaos rituals give 17% requa and 17% influence on top of their standard effects (for example, the Khorne ritual gives 17% requa 17% influence, 33% wash on barracks and factories). This can be done up to 4 times, depending on the number of work rituals.
Units: All units with initiation can use initiations again after the movie. To balance this, units receive 100% damage during the initiation
KhorneHelbrute: now by default has -1 armor (now 7), but a passive keel gives him 33% invul and 33% attacks well)
