Why didn’t … get this attribute?
The reason that dragons, or any flying unit for that matter, didn’t get this attribute was because i thought it would be weird considering they can just fly over the wall. As for a few other units (Ancient Salamanders, Medusas), I considered them to be way too small to be able attack walls.
Is this mod compatible with … ?
It should be compatible with any mod that doesn’t change land_units_tables entries of the units in this mod.
This unit should/shouldn’t have this attribute!
It’s difficult to make everyone happy as different people want different units to have this attribute. I’ve made a guide that shows how to easily remove the attribute from a unit, however it’s a bit more tricky to add the attribute to a unit. There are also a few submods that you can check out.
1, Download Pack File Manager, either from here; https://sourceforge.net/projects/packfilemanager/ or you can download Rusted Pack File Manager (which I personally use) from here; https://github.com/Frodo45127/rpfm/releases/tag/v1.4.0
2, Open the program and press “Open File” in the top left corner
3, Go to C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonTotal War WARHAMMER IIdata or wherever your Warhammer data folder is located
4, Find my mod, it should be called “Large_units_wallbreaker_all_large_units.pack“ and open it
5, Press the down arrows and find the land_units_tables and open it
6, Find the unit you want to remove the attribute from in the “Key” column to the left
7, Scroll to the right until you find a column called “Attribute Group”
8, Remove "_wallbreaker" from the end of the line of the unit you want it removed from
9, Save the mod as something else and in the same data folder as before
10, The attribute should now be removed and you can now use your own version of the mod
