HMS Invincible

G3 class is a battlecruiser class designed after the end of WW1 by the British Royal Navy, which needed to face the challenge purposed by Japan & America. Her expected role was to fill up the Royal Navy’s battlecruiser losses in WW1, as well as to counterattack enemy capital ships so that the British could own the mastery of the seas.The design was granted by The Admiralty Board in 1921.8.12. And 4 ships’ orders were given to the shipyard.
However, most sadly, with the Washington Naval Treaty signed, all 4 ships’ construction came to an unexpected stop.
The destiny of one of the most powerful battlecruisers in history, as well as the ultimate form of heavy artillery ships, was forced to an end before even started. And the world needed to wait another 20 years to witness new warships as powerful as she was.

Combat analysis has revealed several aspects of this deadly warship:
A New Start ———— Royal Navy stood up from the ashes of Jutland, and designed this warship using their best ideas.
Break The Rule ———— G3 design put the third battery at the midship, which can not be more than unique.
Golden Ship ———— In spite of her being powerful, the England was no longer the strong British Empire. She was too costly for the nation.
Last Generation ———— G3, Lexington and Amagi class were the last battlecruisers, and G3 was undeniably the best one.
She was not on my list because there were too many guys who tried to build this unique design. Yet consider she is such a powerful ship, so I still made it true in Navalart.
