Harmandir Sahib is a prominent gurdwara of Sikhism located in Amristar, the city which derives the name from the man-made lake Amrita Saras ("lake of nectar") the temple is built upon. According to the Sikh historical records, the holy site was chosen by Guru Amar Das and acquired by Guru Ram Das. Guru Arjun oversaw the construction of the temple complex and placed a copy of the holy scripture Adi Granth in the gurdwara. Harmandir Sahib was also informally known as the Golden Temple after Ranjit Singh, the first Maharaja of the Sikh Empire, rebuilt the temple complex and donated gold to overlay the sanctum’s outer wall with gold leaf. The Harmandir Sahib temple complex also houses a massive langar, the biggest community kitchen in the world that serves free meals to everyone, regardless of their ethnicities and faiths.

Grants 3 Gurus. Provides +3 Faith, +2 Food and +1 Housing for each Guru (stacks up to 10 times). Must be built adjacent to an Aqueduct district, and you must have founded a Religion. +3 Amenities 3 Relic slots Unlocked at the Humanism civic.

Guru rework

Gurus are now powerful and expensive religious units that can initiate theological combat with units of other Religions. May convert Citizens to their Religion (eliminates 75% of existing pressure from other Religions in the target city) or heal all adjacent friendly religious units. Can only be purchased with Faith in cities with a Hindu, Jain or Sikh wonder# if there are less than 10 Gurus. #Currently includes Borobudur, Harmandir Sahib and Meenakshi Temple. If you do not want to include Guru rework, you may consider deleting all text in ModSupport.sql (do not delete the file itself).

Supports English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Japanese.
