Elemental Environmental Protection
One of the things I really liked about FU back when I played it was its resistance-based hazard system. Species that lived in certain habitats naturally resisted the harsh conditions of said habitat. Great for immersion. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find that feature as a standalone mod… so I made one! I tried to make it as compatible with other mods as possible – it currently covers both vanilla and Starburst Rework hazards (without touching any of their scripts), and it should be pretty simple to patch in support for other elements and hazards. It can also work with non-biome statuses like burning and poison.
The mod doesn’t do much, if anything, by itself, but is meant to be used with Race Traits. It’s not species-by-species immunities, but most of them should meet the appropriate resistance thresholds. Let me know if said thresholds need tweaking.
"Could you add support for (insert mod here)?" Probably, if I have any idea how to balance it. I plan to do Arcana once I figure out the progression, and I think a couple of Omeruin’s planets have their own hazards too? I made this mod with expandability in mind. If I don’t add it, you’re welcome to make a patch for it! All the resistances and thresholds are in one handy config that can be easily added to.
"Is this compatible with Fra–" Why. FU already does this. Having both is redundant at best.
