Milsim HUD (Formerly ASEC HUD) is a customisable client-side mod that can hide the Vanilla Arma 3 HUD. Other HUD hiding mods didn’t quite provide the flexibility and completeness I wanted, so I created my own.

Screenshots with the Vanilla HUD visible are stinky and cringe.
Screenshots without the HUD thanks to Milsim HUD are pog and based.

By default, all HUD elements are configured to be hidden on toggle.
Default keybind to toggle Milsim HUD is "O".

NEW – If Milsim HUD is customised to show any HUD element, you can use the Hide all HUD elements keybind (unbound by default) to get the perfect screenshot without reconfiguring your minimal HUD.

Both are configurable via CBA_A3.

Current configurable HUD elements:

Chatbox
Panels (GPS, crew info, minesweeper, etc)
Scrollwheel Menu
Vanilla High Command Menu – Accessed using tilde by default.
Weapon/Vehicle Info – Shown in the top corners by default.
Squad Leader UI

Milsim HUD won’t disable other UI mods such as DUI, I would recommend an identical keybind to hide DUI – Controls > Addon Options > DUI – Squad Radar – Main > Toggle UI on and off

Who are we?

ANZSEC is an Arma 3 Milsim community that endeavors to achieve a realistic, immersive, and enjoyable experience. With the use of real military tactics, structure, and procedure as our underpinning combined with a relaxed approach, we consider ourselves to be a semi-realistic unit.

Who we play as?

We are based on a fictional department/corps of the Australian Defence Force (ADF). Elements of our ORBAT, procedures, and structure are inspired by the real-life ADF.

When do we run operations?

Our official operations are run every Sunday. This is the mandatory mission members are asked to be committed to coming along too.

When Daylight savings is not observed.

Load into server: 1800 AEST
Op briefing: 1815 AEST
Step off: 1830 AEST
Mission end: 2030-2130 AEST

When Daylight savings is observed.

Load into server: 1730 AEST
Op briefing: 1745 AEST
Step off: 1800 AEST
Mission end: 2000-2100 AEST

We also run unofficial operations and trainings throughout the week but these are optional for members to attend and vary in theme from sci-fi and fantasy to hardcore realism.
