Visual – Overhaul for most Units
A visual overhaul of most units in the game.
Focus on making units more appealing and unique, while maintaining readability.
The mod began with putting beards back on Dwarfs and removing the Reaver facemasks.
Many female units were turned male. It makes for a more believable and coherent look for a medieval army.
Ofc leaders and specific units (Awakener, Furies, Lightseeker, Wildspeaker, Steelshapers, etc.) are still female,
but rank and file Magelocks and Archers are male now.
In the gallery you find many examples of the improved visuals.

This mod was my inspiration.
I put beards on all Dwafs (even the Great Bombard), but I could not put beards on Evokers.
I could not find the Modularity for Evokers in the game files.
The mod fixes that.
Please give me feedback and ideas.
I’ve been playing through Empires and Ashes with this mod and it has been a delight seeing all my customised units in action.

Industrious Culture > uniform look, with helmets that help to distinguish between Unit Tiers
New looks for male Transmuters, Warlocks, Pyromancers and many Archer units
Getting rid of helmets that would not fit over a beak, beard, snout or big Goblin nose
New Eagle Rider with Winged Helmet
Mount armor on exotic mounts and powerful knightly units
