Description:

Combat overhaul for TerraTech.

Changes:

  • Shields now have a custom HP and regen system
    • Shield passive energy drain is doubled
    • Shields no longer drain energy from damage
    • Shields now have HP
    • Shields will lose HP when they take damage
    • Shields will continuously regen HP, as long as they have not taken a hit from a projectile in the last 0.2 seconds. Lasers do not count. Time shield regen stops is configurable, and varies by corp.
    • When a shield runs out of HP, it immediately powers down, and needs to be powered back up again.
  • Removed repair bubble passive energy drain
  • Integrated Explosion Nerf Mod. If you subscribe to both, only one will be loaded and used by 0MM
  • Added armour damage mitigation
    • Armor now nullifies a certain amount of incoming damage per projectile, based on its current HP, and the block’s corporation
    • Even accounting for armor mitigation, projectiles will still do a minimum of 1/10 of their damage to the armor block
  • Added projectile piercing
    • Only certain weapon types are able to penetrate blocks
    • If a projectile deals more damage than the target block has HP (after damage mitigation), it penetrates the block
    • The projectile will deal its damage, ignore the block, and continue onwards to damage other blocks
    • Each time it penetrates, the projectile will retain only a fraction of its damage. How much is determined by the corporation, and the health of the block.
    • ^ This health calculation is based on the number of cells the projectile is predicted to pass through. e.g. if the projectile is going lengthwise through the entire block, it will do full damage. If it’s going perpendicular and only passes through one cell, it only does a fraction of the damage before penetrating
    • Unlike earlier mod versions, the block is not instantly destroyed, and can thus be resurrected by venture repair bubble spam

In addition, this mod comes with a default configuration for Armor Piercing – given generally to HE cannons, and the heavy GSO cannons. The default config adds armor piercing to select blocks in Naval Blocks, Air Blocks, Rabis Blocks, HE Plus, and Black Labs.
