Death In The Family
It seems fairly silly that a character acting somewhat out of character causes them significantly more stress than the deaths of their own children, so this is a simple, quick and dirty mod that increases the amount of stress a parent gains when their child dies (or a child gains when their parent dies) significantly. Specifically, it raises each individual stress level by a tier – i.e. a character will experience monumental (instead of medium) stress if their beloved son or 12-year old daughter dies, while they will experience medium (instead of minor) stress if an adult child they don’t like very much dies.
Because this could easily lead to catastrophic stress cascades for the AI and the AI is very bad at dealing with stress, Last Nomad’s mod No Death Cascades, which sets a cooldown to prevent the AI from experiencing multiple on-death stress events in a row, is required. Place this mod below that mod.
This mod is fully save compatible and should be compatible with any other mods that do not alter on-death events. Obviously, place this below those.
