General:
blue section – playlist panel
grey section – step sequencers
black section – instrument panel
time section – tempo
Transport:
blue slot – set playlist length
blue switch – play/pause
blue button – cue back to start
red button – rewind one step
green button – forward one step
sensor bar – physical song/playlist position
yellow switch – metronome
Changing the tempo:
go to the time section, the dark red and green buttons increase or decrease the tempo, place small pipes in the cyan slot to change the spawn tempo.
Adding instruments:
The rainbow gates on the instrument panel can wire directly into any totebot head, though i recommend inserting an OR gate in between every sequencer-totebot link, to ensure one head can be used by multiple sequences.
Sequencing (place small pipes!):
white sensor slots – ignore playlist & loop
grey sensor slots – sequencer steps
rainbow slots – pulse mode
black switches – mute sequence
Using the playlist:
simply place blocks (not pipes!) on the playlist grid, every row is connected to 1 sequencer of the same color, blocks inside a row will activate the corresponding sequencer when they are passed by the sensor bar, adding or removing blocks from the blue slot changes the playlist length.
