1986 MF-2 Joker – German robot (Chernobyl)
The
robot used during the cleaning of radioactive graphite from the roof of a damaged reactor at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in 1986.
The machine’s electronics have been burned as a result of extremely high radiation of over 20,000 R/h. In this situation, the USSR decided to send people there… Biorobots.
-The machine is controlled remotely from a control center with monitors
-has cameras that allow the device to be operated from a long distance
-the robot has 4 gears shifted manually using the SHIFT and CTRL keys: 1, 2, 3 forward and R1 backward
-has boom control functions in ALT mode with keys
W, S, A, D, arrows and Page UP and DOWN (also without ALT)
-the I key is responsible for destroying the robot control
-the X key is responsible for lowering the jib with the camera (entering low buildings)
-the machine is equipped with lamps (L key) and a beacon (Q key)
