Description:

An OC I originally made in Dreams, Barry is a simple blobfish who wanted to live a new life above land. But, showing up in Aether means life has other plans for him.

Barry is a slippery rushdown type of character. A majority of his attacks move him around in some way. Combine that with his low friction to secure a win!

Specials

Neutral Special

Barry’s neutral special is called the "Blobfish Bite". Barry opens his mouth wide and eats anyone who happens to be in his path. After he eats someone, he quickly spits them out, not quite enjoying their taste.

Side Special

For his side special, Barry will throw out his bow-tie like a boomerang, which he calls the "Bowtiearang" move. Pretty soon after he pulls out a new bow-tie. The bowtie thrown only hits opponents once, is not affected by gravity, and shoots off in the distance when parried.

Down Special

Barry performs what is called the "Flop ‘n Slam Special" for his down special. Barry starts by jumping and backflipping away from his opponents. For the first part of the jump, Barry has 8 invincibility frames, allowing him to escape any oncoming attacks if timed right.

If you press special again after jumping, Barry will then do a ground pound and slam into any opponents below him. This move can be used for some dirty tricks, but due to how fast Barry falls he will most likely die before the opponent. So be careful!

Up Special

Up special has Barry perform the "Blobfish Flee". Barry holds his bowtie up and spins it around in a helicopter type fashion. This momentum pulls him up and damages enemies up to 8 times mid-flight. The move finishes when Barry accidentally lets go of his tie, with one final hitbox to go with it before sending him into pratfall.
