Change the strength of your kicks depending on your distance to the cursor within a certain radius around your player, similar to how items can be thrown with varying degrees of force. The default is 70 pixels, which is the same radius that thrown items stop being thrown any harder, and can be changed in the mod settings menu with. A small animation plays every time you change it to let you know how far you’ve got to move your mouse in order to achieve maximum kick power.

Also includes a controller-friendly setting in that allows you to hold the kick button down instead of using the cursor’s location. The longer you hold the button down, the harder you kick.

Works with Telekinetic Kick, but if you’ve enabled the button-holding setting, Telekinetic Kick won’t throw the object you are holding until you let go of the throw button, or a certain amount of time (18 frames, the time it takes to kick without telekinetic kick) has passed.

Kick-Fixer should be compatible with nearly all mods unless they dramatically alter the way kicking works.

This mod won’t make your kicks any stronger than they naturally are in the game, but rather lets you decide how much of your max power to use at any given time. Its primarily useful to position explosives and other things around the stage exactly where you want them without the struggle of kicking them at max power all the time and hoping they bounce to the right space.

It makes sense as a basic mechanic in the game, and hope the devs implement this into the base game in one day.
