Nagoya Castle (World Wonder)

After the decisive victory of the Battle of Sekigahara, Tokugawa Ieyasu ordered various daimyos to construct the Nagoya Castle in 1610. The castle was used both as the residence of the Owari branch of Tokugawa clan and as the accomodation facilities when the shogun visited the Owari Domain. Nagoya Castle is also refered to as "Castle of Golden Shachi" thanks to the two golden shachi statues on the castle roof. Nagoya Castle and its famous golden shachi statues were once destroyed by aerial bombardments during the World War II, and reconstruction work is being carried out to restore the castle to its former glory.
Grants 2 Bombards and 2 copies of Golden Shachi unique resource. This cannot be earned any other way in the game and provides 6 Amenities. Provides the same defensive bonuses as the Fort improvement. Must be built adjacent to the City Center. +2 Amenities +6 Gold Unlocked at the Gunpowder technology.
