Guard Mode – Quick, Easy & Mod Compatible
This mod adds a Guard Mode Button to all units in the campaign, that makes them hold their position when toggled on. Nothing more, nothing less.
- No stat changes.
- No AI troubles.
- Only enabled for human players.
However, due to the method it is implemented it only works in campaign battles and not during custom battles!
This mod started out as a side project for a personal overhaul mod I’m creating and I thought others might find it useful, too, so I decided to release it.
This mod should be compatible with almost any other mod out there on the workshop, especially unit packs, as long as they don’t edit the "a_mp_test_10"-ability. I have verified its compatibility with some of the most popular mods through ingame-testing and checking of the relevant database entries.
Verified compatible Mods:
- Ancient Empires Public Release Beta v.1.03 (Has wrong icon, but works flawlessly; may change in the future)
- Ammunition Refill
- Fall of the Eagles
- Forgotten Realms
- Radious Total War Mod
- Terminus Total War – Imperium
This mod is fully save game compatible.
As stated above, the mod only works during campaign battles and not during custom battles.
