Description:

This sleek, Europan yacht is the premier vessel in abyssal traversal. All considerations have been made to keep this ship efficient and effective, yet it still sports a pleasing aesthetic. Not only will you make it across alive, you will make it in style.

This sub uses vanilla parts and values with minor adjustments for theme. It has no components that would be considered cheating, but it is stronger than vanilla subs. It is classified as a T3 scout.

Contains: Deconstructor, fabricator, medical fabricator and research station.

Features:
Brig – A secured room that can only be accessed by crew ID cards, allowing for proper prisoner transport and traitor arrests.

Battery buffer array – The reactor feeds into an 8-battery array, and the grid draws the from the array. Spikes in power usage are fed from the batteries, not directly from the reactor, helping to minimize grid issues. The batteries themselves have an adapting recharge rate. The lower a battery’s charge, the higher the recharge rate. This keeps down on unnecessary reactor load and allows it to adjust on automatic setting.

Custom built auto doors – Commonly walked areas have doors that will stay open or closed like a normal door, but when water is detected in an adjoining room the doors will close. They can still be opened and passed while water is detected, but will continually shut until the water is gone.

Drain system – The nav is equipped with a button that opens doors and hatches so that all rooms will drain into the bilge, or a ballast that is not full. Doors will revert after this cycle, ensuring that any recurring breaches are kept compartmentalized.

Camera monitor array – The bridge has a camera system that allows the captain to get a visual on the situation within the submarine’s key areas. Each interior monitor has two cameras. There is also an exterior camera system to survey the hull and immediate area. (component setup credit to InitialDesu)

Split discharge system – The fore and aft portions of the ship have separate, dedicated electrical discharge coils to protect the blind spots without taking power from other weapon systems.

Hunter-Killer drone – The nose of the ship that houses the railgun is actually a detachable drone that can be piloted from the bridge. It is aimed and fired from the same periscope when it’s apart of the ship, so a 2-man crew can scout and terminate threats from a safer distance.
