The Ursas are the industrialists of the Sapioid fleet , they live on large mining colonies and fly bulky barges to extract and refine ore for supplying Lonestar and Kosneko war effort and peacekeeping.
The perfossor design is focused on stable flight and maximum turret coverage to allow the barge to be able to constantly maintain an avantageous position while shattering and retrieving ore from asteroids or wrecks .
Its also equipped with a strong shield to protect the crew from asteroid hazards or to allow the ship to survive long enough before engaging hyperdrive should the mining operation be attacked by pirates. Its also equipped with a powerful generator optimized for the needs of energy turrets that require higher energy consumptions than other turret types.
There are also extra turret hardpoints reserved for the use of defensive Point defense systems against enemy figheters and torpedoes designed for full coverage against that type of threats.
