The Haibu is the most compact full capacity carrier the universe has to offer , with a volume equivalent to your average destroyer, this extremely light craft has a lot to offer in ways so unconventional it shatter the boundaries between ship classification.
its maneuvrability and speed is equivalent to frigates , its quick and nimble to get in and out of engagements ranges , its four hangar bays can drop its entire payload quickly and retrieve fighters as fast after combat .
despite its extremely compact size, its able to carry a full 10 squads of light fighters and possess at the expense of low production capacity.
The haibu can produce its own fighters relatively fast if the blueprints require cheap materials and common technology, but for more high end fighters its best to rely on an external dedicated fighter production facility.
While primarily a military ship, its using it for a different purpose such as mining or salvaging isnt completely out of the scope of its role, the Haibu can accomodate excavation equipment as well as combat equipment, however most military strategists agree that its never a good idea to have different kind of fighters mixed in this ship and its better to use separated Haibus with different drone loadouts , each focused on a specific task.
