RIA Usurper Class Battleship [8-9 Slot]
Description : Stats are at 100% engineers. This is a CHEAP Battleship, it’s half the cost of my Preeminence, double the HP, and has a tremendous amount of upgrade potential with framework space. This is a really easy/cheap way to get a ship that could last till the Core(it likely wont survive the core even fully decked out). It starts a 8 slot but easily becomes a 9 slot when upgrading. There are a few Very Large framework blocks that work perfect for cargo hold and can easily reach around 40k Cargo capacity. The ship suffers from pretty severe power issues so more power generators, or power generator system upgrades are heavily suggested. It’ll run into issues jumping between systems. This was my first attempt at making a really discount ship thats meant to be durable.
Lore: Cost Efficiency was the name of the game for these older pocket battleships the RIA created. Designed to be able to take a beating, and mass produced, the Usurper Class Battleship is a very cheap and easy to build ship that can take a pounding and still give it back. It’s corner cutting had left it with an under performing generator that was considered acceptable with the options to boost it with system slots, or in it’s modularity.
