"The Javelin is basically a bigass ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ space gun an experimental craft released for public trials, that was originally intended to be a self propelled, extreme range railgun, but the assigned engineering team were all dropped on the head as babies so they built huge rails to mount guns on instead, designed to mitigate the slow rotation rates of larger turrets by having them fixed on a single axis along the spine of the ship and being equipped with untested, highly radioactive gyroscope-like devices excavated from alien ruins that turn the ship violently enough to reduce its crew into grotesque modern art an in-house developed high performance gyro system for aiming and an intertial dampening field to avoid acceleration/deceleration related injuries to the crew. It is recomended to use high powered, low firerate weapons on the ships spinal mounts. "
