gm_freelands [big open area map]
IMPORTANT
-if you got problems with models/textures download gm_fork and relaunch garry’s mod
-if you can’t go through teleport on foot you need to do it by vehicle
Big open area map (4 times bigger than gm_fork,but it’s something more like gm_mobenix or other constructs)
Uses 80% of hammer editor space in every direction (areas divided into 4 pieces)
There are 4 areas:
-city
-coast
-forest
-mountains
Everyone has plenty of roads and building with interior (some of they have teleport to increase performance and save world brushes)
Features
-easter eggs
-enterable building by teleport can be recognised by doors (non enterable doesnt have any)
-rendered cubemaps
-marketplace
IMPORTANT this map is intended for non-HDR only, cubemaps would probably not work in HDR mode
Issues:
-water looks bad beacause this map is that big so VVIS won’t without one big func_visleaf per skybox, i tried to fix this 4 days and i gave up for now
