Lestallum Casual
An outfit for Gladio to help him cool off in hot Lestallum~
I actually gave Gladio leg hair, which was a lot more difficult to add than I could have ever imagined. After many attempts, I settled for how it is now. I painted on the hair by using the texture paint function in Blender, but it wasn’t that simple — Gladio’s official leg mesh had some damage above the knees: there was a zig-zag of messy faces that messed with the texture painting, so I had to repair that as best I could. Then, because the leg texture was so low quality, the texture painting was pixelated, so I had to separate the legs from the feet and upscaled the leg texture x4. This allowed me to paint on the hair with a much better result!
Overall, I think the added hair is true to Gladio’s character… It would be a little strange that despite having a scruffy face, his legs would be baby-smooth XD
Tank top and shorts are from his other outfits, top has emblems removed and the shorts are actually his casual pants cut off and with the back pocket emblem removed and the color changed. The sandals are from an NPC boy, sized way up to fit Gladio; I really like the design of them~ Also, his necklace moves!
IMPORTANT: This and most other mods look much better with ambient occlusion turned off (eliminates some of the weird lighting and artifacts when using Ansel).
