二战结束前夕，苏联期望获得轴心国战列舰作为赔偿舰。但是其西方盟友从中阻挠，严防红海军获得现代化的战列舰。
At the end of WWII, Soviets had long been looking forward to get the battleships from Axis powers as compensation. However, their Western allies intervened so that there would be no modern battleships transfered to the Red Navy.
苏联一度认为意大利“利托里奥”级理应赔偿给他们，但未能如愿。所以史达林同志突然决定亲自访问日本，并带队登上“长门”号且赖在那里不走了。西方国家只好同意将“长门”号赔偿给苏联。史达林直到“长门”到达苏联后才离舰。
After losing the Littorio Class which the Soviets deemed to be theirs. Starlin made a rash decision that he himself would lead a boarding party while visiting Japan and take control of Nagato. The Allied finally gave in to his demand and Stalin did not leave Nagato until the ship set sail to Russia.
当前是该舰1947年完成苏械化改造的形态，最初命名为“列宁格勒”号，后命名为“塞瓦斯托波尔”号。该舰所搭载的武器与传感器表明了红海军较为缺乏大型舰艇运用经验。但是该舰一直承担相关子系统试验任务，并开启了苏联建造大型水面舰艇之路。因为获得“长门”号，大舰巨炮爱好者史达林同志心情大好，多续了好几年的命。
This is what she was after being retrofitted with Soviet weaponry circa 1947. She was named as Leningrad later renamed as Sevastopol. What she carries now showed the fact that Red Navy lacked experience in operating a modern battleship. However, the ship carreid on as a testbed for Red Navy systems and kickstarted the building of large surface combatants in Soviet Union. Secruing former IJN Nagato had made Starlin, a battleship lover, much happier. He lived longer than he did in our universe.
