Description:

It is a DLL mod. It REQUIRES you to subscribe to the security mod GHIRBI and enable it BEFORE enabling any DLL mod. You can check if a mod is a DLL mod in the main’s menu mod list, there is a mention under its icon.

It also only supports the beta gateofhorn branch like most DLL mods. It might work on the main branch, but no guarantee. If you did everything right and nothing happens, it’s probably because of that.

Any feedback that doesn’t confirm that they have GHIRBI subscribed to and enabled will be ignored (and possibly deleted). I cannot follow up on all the feedback from all the mods if the proper informations aren’t provided (or if you didn’t read the very workshop page)

IF YOU HAVE ISSUES PLEASE CREATE A NEW DISCUSSION INSTEAD OF A COMMENT. THANK YOU!

Shelves

"These are not books, lumps of lifeless paper, but minds alive on the shelves."
– Gilbert Highet

Adds Shelves to organise your cards automatically.

Requires The Roost Machine to be subscribed to, enabled, before it in the loading order, and to restart the game once. Due to having Roost Machine as a dependency, this mod is only supported on the gateofhorn beta branch!

What it does
  • The mod defines a new type of objects, "shelves", and provides three example shelves: stats, commissions and tools. This doesn’t add shelves apart from these three examples, only the feature itself. To actually get shelves to use on the table, check out the mods like Hawthorn and More Shelves (other mods exist, check the "Shelves" tag on the workshop).
  • When in game, right click on the Stack button in the bottom bar. It will display a new window you can browse to then drag and drop shelves directly onto the table. While the window is open, you can also delete any shelf on the table by clicking on its cross button.
  • now each time you will click the Stack button or hit the key shortcut (TAB by default), after stacking the cards, the game will try to move all the matching cards to the shelves.
  • A setting in the settings menu also allows you to automate this entirely. The game will keep all the cards organised automatically into shelves and move them when they change.

A Few Things To Know (FAQ)
  • Q: Will my exhausted cards automatically move to the non-exhausted slots when they regenerate?
Yes, if you enabled the "auto organize" setting in the settings.
  • Q: Can you add new built-in shelves?
This mod is focused on providing the feature itself. But other mods exist, providing dozens of unique shelves. In particular, check out the mods named Hawthorn and More Shelves.
  • Q: How can I destroy a shelf I created by mistake?
Open the Shelves window (right click on the Stack button). While it is open, every shelf on the table will display a cross in its upper right corner. Click it to delete the shelf.
  • Q: I keep moving shelves by mistake. Can I lock them in place?
Yes you can. Enable the "lock shelves in place" setting in the settings. You can still move them while the Shelves window is open, no need to toggle this setting again to move them!
  • Q: I have very specific habits. Can I make my own shelves?
Yes you can, and I will explain it in the next section!
