GHIRBI, the Gatekeeper

GHIRBI, the Gatekeeper, does nothing… except allow you to enable DLL mods which execute third-party code. Many of the more interesting mods on the Workshop need this to function.
Why is this important? Because in theory, DLL mod authors could run malicious code on your machine if you install a malicious DLL mod. This is very rare, it hasn’t happened on Cultist Simulator, and Steam blocks bad actors, but it has happened on at least one other game. By installing Ghirbi, you are indicating that you understand and accept this risk.

You won’t need to install GHIRBI until after our next patch, but you can install it now to avoid interruptions if you prefer.
