This is the Mark 3 update of my Tethys Battlecarrier:

MK3 VS MK2 notes:
While I still consider the Mark 2 as a viable ship, it suffered a lot from the humming sound that was introduced a while ago for the Fusion Generators, as it had the Cockpit directly above the generator. I wanted to use it for my current playthough on the Anvil Server, so that had to change. Took the chance and also improved some visuals and changed to a bigger front hangar door. Large parts of the ship are however unchanged.

The Thethys is a Battlecarrier with three large Hangars that are connected via internal ramps, enabling internal movement of HVs and SVs between them. E.g. to move to the repair facility in the middle Hangar.
It comes with considerable armor and weapons placements, but is not yet a dreadnought.

The stock layout is set up with minimal weapons for fighter defence and will serve as little more than a carrier unless upgraded. Extensive weapon and shield upgrade mounts enable it to be upgraded into a veritable fighter as well.
Shield upgrades go up to a 4/4/4/4/4/2 configuration (i.e. there are chambers for up to 6 of the very large upgrades). There is also room for 2 additional Fusion generators, base it comes with one.

Weapon Uprade options (Mountings):
-Spinal mounted Railgun
-12 MX-4 Torpedo Launchers (see screenshot for position)
-10 Artillery Turrets
-12 Cannon Weapons
-30 Turrets

7 Minigun Turrets
4 Sentinel Flak Turrets

Equipment:
2 Advanced Constructors
1 Deconstructor
4 Hydroponic Lights (Grow plots not included, space for 36)
2 Food Processor + 4 Fridges
Long Range Radar
Teleporter

Storage:
5x 640k Storage Controllers
3x 320k Ammo Controllers
Various Cargo Boxes

Shield:
1x Adv. Shield
3x Large Capacitor
1x Capacitor Bank
1x Charger Coupling
Shield capacity: 27125, recharge: 400

Armor:
The Bow is heavily Armored, the engineering section comes with its own armor sacophagus. The rest of the ship has mostly hardened steel to keep the weight in check. Devices are all separated by armor, to keep them from chaining.
The Armor will not be enough to fight ships with good anti-armor weapons (e.g. Toveras). You have to upgrade the shields to fight those.

The Core:
It’s at the front and will be the first thing that goes once the armor is broken (After the Bar. Sorry.). This should save the more valuable components if things go south.

Fighting:
Firing arcs for weapons are somewhat limited, as with all of my ships from this design line. You want your opponent directly in front of the ship, preferrably at a distance of 800m. I Recommend long range weapons.
The ship is not very maneuverable, so best to try and get rid of the enemies main thrusters early.

Concerning overall battle performance, the ship is nowhere as efficient a fighter as some of my smaller builds. It will need a lot more investment to stand toe to toe with endgame enemies. This ship is for you if you absolutely want a Big Battlecarrier with a full interior and are willing to pay the price for it. It is not (!) a min-maxed Dreadnought hunter.

LCDs are modifications from sulusdacors LCD Library, so a big thanks to him for his amazing work!
