Description:

The Defense of Furemi Hill is a large sized, Japan themed map where it pits the JSDF at Furemi Hill, and areas west of it, while the PLA have control of an uncapturable base west of the Japanese defenses. Filled with historic structures, old settlements, and trees, the JSDF and PLA must utilize flanking tactics, and vehicles in order to dish each other out.

Mission Briefings:

JSDF:

With China dispatching a few ships into Okinawa, and the loss of Naha, it is clear to us now that China is wanting war with us. Multiple JSDF battalions had been stationed at Furemi Hill, and are ready to take over areas westward and prepare to take up defensive positions against the invading force. Luckily no Chinese carrier is stationed off the coast, but there shall be no fear, for our carriers are enroute to battle with the Chinese ships, that is if we are able to get there quickly. Hold out until we are able to relieve hope in keeping Okinawa from communist control.

PLA:

We are beginning to build up momentum, comrades. With the defeat of the Japanese at Naha, we began pushing up through Okinawa with speed. However, our advance is halted to take care of resistance in one particular location. Unfortunately, due to some of our ships that we wanted to use for invasion being currently under maintenance to overwhelm our enemy (seriously, hurry up), it kept us from completely encircling Okinawa, but regardless, take the hill, and it’s surroundings, that way we will be sure that the Japanese stationed at Okinawa will hopefully surrender to us.
