2019 UPDATE: So I did this to challenge myself to see if I enjoyed designing and programming games, and I found that I do. I’ve been taking classes for game design and have learned a plethera of new things. I’ve been working hard on my own classes and games. After I release my first game, and after the Symbiosis DLC drops, I will come back to this and fix everything and make it the beautiful thing I intended it to be origonally. I hope to be workign on this alongside developing games, but if developing games (hopefully) becomes a full time job, I will move this to the backburner in order to spend my time creating my own games rather than modding others.

Hi, I’m Joe and EL is my favorite game, this Mod is here to balance the game, and fix some issues with it. I update this a couple times per week, and love feedback and additional ideas to add in, so comment and tell me what you think.

UPDATE 8/14: I am currently working on the City Improvement and Tech tree overhaul, so I’ll be quiet on updates for a week or so before updating massively

This is a massive project of mine, it’ll take time to complete, but it will only get better.
Todo List: Balance Items/Techs/Improvements/Minor Faction Units, Add more buildings/techs, Screw around with AI,add more custom units so that each faction/game has more variety avaliable.
Known Issues: Wonders Update screwed with the Legendary Deeds GUI, all the deeds work properly, and display properly in pop-ups, just not on the Tech Tree
Kapaku Volunteer not showing in Faction select, still playable in game.

FAQ:
Q: I can’t edit my volunteer? It makes the game stuck in an infinite loop.
A: This was an issue in the first release, it works now though, delete the mod then redownload it and it should work, if it still doesn’t DM me

Q: Does this work with other mods?
A: Yes you can, it should work with most mods, if you find one that it doesn’t work with, let me know and I’ll find a work around

NOTE: I am aware that the Wonders look wrong on the tech tree, they work properly it is just GUI confusion that I’m trying to fix, all the Wonders work however. If there are any problems not related to tech tree GUI, tell me please.
Each Altar Wonder costs 15 population to build, then you can sacrifice population at the altar to give empire wide buffs, you can sacrifice as many times as you want to.

Altar of Bloodshed, Sacrifices buff Combat
Altar of Conscience, Sacrifices buff Science
Altar of Nature, Sacrifices buff Food
Altar of Gifts, Sacrifices buff Dust
Altar of Material, Sacrifices buff Industry

Expansion Victory now requires 75% of Regions instead of 80%
Expansion Victory requires 65% on Huge maps and 70% on Large maps
Dust victory now requires 20% more dust total
Decreased Food Bonus from Happy and Fervent City
Increased Production Bonus from Happy and Fervent City
Increased Food Penalty in Cities on Strike

Made Victory Building 2x more expensive and require more Strategic Resources
Overhauled Museum of Auriga, now gives 50 Happiness and 20 Science per level, and a flat 10% dust and influence boost
Industrial Megapole Industry doubled

Throne of Emperors Diplomacy Cost Reduction Increased to 50%, and it now gives 100 City Defense per level
Reliquary of Auriga Dust doubled
Allayi Buroughs now give no initial unhappiness, but only give 10 upon reaching level 2
