Description:

Adds the golem crafting ‘Architects’ faction. V.0596.

Automated Factory Cities: The crowning achievement of the Architects, the ‘Factory City’. Such a complex assembly of factories and structures could only ever exist in one location.

Dust-Based Computation: The Architects are few in number, unable to field teams of researchers or run academies. And so they’ve developed complex machines powered by dust, allowing them to research on the level of great nations.

Golem Workforce: The streets of the Architects’ Factory City are filled with a golem workforce instead of flesh-and-blood citizens. Use production to create more workers for your city.

Mining Operations: Collector golems, Non-combatants deployed outside the walls of the Architect’s Factory City to collect valuable resources and information.

Begin the match with a custom hero: Craft Alpha – A unique and powerful golem created by one of the elite, long-lost researchers of the Architects.

Activate the Architect’s factory cities and begin production:

Tier 1 unit: Engineers – Human ground units that specialize in repairing and overclocking the gear and golems of the Architects.
Tier 2 unit: Vitruvian – Advanced front-line war golem. High production costs with high output. Requires repair to keep functioning.
Tier 3 unit: Artillary Craft – Long range back-line golem artillary units.

V.0596:
Fixed an issue creating by mod cleaning. Lesson learned to avoid cleaning whenever possible.

V.0595:
Spring (Summer?) cleaning. No major changes, mostly just cleaning up code.

V.057:
Reduced the upkeep cost of the Golem Workers from 3 dust per to 2 dust per.
Fixed an issue where the default boroughs appeared as a build option for the Architects. Please be aware that this means your initial population of 1 does not count toward your district count, and you will need two golem workers for your first district (or 1 if using cellulose mutation.)

V.059:
Vitruvian: Unit can once again group with other units. Production cost and stats have been balanced to reflect changes.
Fixed a minor issue with the faction preview in faction selection improperly displaying unit names/images.

Known Issues:
There is an issue with Craft Alpha’s ability tree wherein you are unable to branch from certain abilities into others. This may only be related to the right tree. Requires further testing.
Wonder Structures appear as normal burroughs. – This is an aesthetics-only glitch that appears to be related to similar issues with attaching questlines to custom factions.
