Description:

HellFrost difficulty : No matters what you do, your people will starve until death, and your empire will go bankrupt and collapse. You will loose population and buildings, and maybe loose the game at the same time as your last city. You come from dust, you will return to dust… frozen.

Perfect if you are mad and masochist.

After testing HellFrost, I think it hurt more IA than player at low difficulty. You need to play it with high difficulty if you want IA survive, Impossible or Endless !

Turn 150 and 300+ : winter slightly longer and summer slightly shorters (only 1 or 2 turns, nothing excessive)

HellFrost made the winter a worst enemy than others empires. Or is supposed to do that.
There is new season effects that will surprise you (bad surprise I guess), and force you to change your strategy, asking some anticipation.
Mecanic of the mod is to regroup aleatory effects in 4 categories. Each winter, the game can choose 1 effect in one category among 2 effects, and among the remaining effects not choosen of previous winters.
Categorys are : Army and Vision and Movement, Food and Approval, Dust and Citypoint, Industry and Science.

Time rate of seasons are supposed to be improved, so all seasons are shorters, and winters effects accumulate more quickly.

There is no endless winter in late game, seasons keep same frame rate all the game.
