Description:

Adds the undead manipulating ‘Necromancers’ faction. V.0684

Arcane adepts: The Necromancers are accomplished dust mages. Research new magics and raise the dead to destroy your enemies.
Animated corpses: Collect corpses by killing other armies. Cadavers are a resource needed to animate the dead.

Begin a match with a custom hero: Lord Mazal, a lich lord necromancer.

Raise and control the dead:
Tier 1 unit: Animated Soldier – Returns from the dead at the end of combat so long as its unit survived the fight. The dead of the enemy replenish their health.
Tier 2 unit: Necromancer – Buffs and supports units at the cost of their HP while maintaining a high defense. Does not return from the dead.
Tier 2 unit: Lich – Support your units on the front line with area-automatic health regeneration and melee-ranged healing. Deals increased damage and returns from the dead.

Use the Animator accessory on assimilated minor factions to corrupt them and raise their corpses as the undead.


New in V.068:
All Necromancers Faction units now collect Cadavers, similar to the Necrophages. These are now a resource required to build undead units, whose production cost is now much, much smaller. Collect the dead and raise them to build your army!
All units have been rebalanced with the new production and cadaver costs in mind.

Fixed an issue where Wonder structures would not properly display once built.

Fixed an issue where Wonder structures would not appear normally after construction.

V.067
Fixed an issue creating by mod cleaning. Lesson learned to avoid cleaning whenever possible.

V.066:
Spring (Summer?) cleaning. No major changes, mostly just cleaning up code.

New in .06:
The dead fill the streets: Necromancers now have basic militia to protect their cities.
The dead fill the land: Create settlers and build new cities, spreading the influence of your undead armies.
Tweaked Lord Mazal’s stats slightly and made changes to reflect his ability to assist in research.

New in .064:
New ‘Animation Ritual’ can be created under accessories, usable only on assimilated minor factions. Grants them undeath, allowing them to return from the dead at the end of battle like the rest of the Necromancer’s undead units.
Animated Soldier units have been given a slight buff to stats and given the ‘Soul Leech’ ability.

Known issues:

*Graphics and text for Necromancers Cadaver Booster use Necrophage’s template. This is unfortunately a hard limitation that can’t be worked around, but is otherwise just aesthetic.
