A three-island archipelago, with sharp coastlines and moderately rugged hills. Only sea connections to Europe and to the USSR are possible.
Based loosely on the Saaremaa and Hiiumaa regions of Estonia.
This is the uninhabited version of the map! Except for a small customs area, there are no buildings or any infrastructure whatsoever!

The North Sea, late 1959. Bolestered by the recent Cuban Revolution, the brave comrades of the island nation of Kaugsaare cast off the shackles of their monarchist oppressors. A Revolutionary Government is formed, with the aim to advance all people rather than just a wealthy few. The Western powers denounce the uprising, claiming that ‘Soviet Interests’ are working to seize the islands’ natural resources.
Are they right? Will Kaugsaare be led into freedom, solidarity, and prosperity, or be driven further into exploitation? It’s up to you, Comrade Director.
