Description:

Hello everyone! I’m back with another upload finally, this time im pleased to bring you the ex Canadian Pacific A2m class number 136. Built by the Rogers Locomotive Works in 1883 this 4-4-0 is an underdog of the Canadian Pacific fleet, mainly used for shortline passenger service and later in her carreer on shunting yards where there was a low loading gauge, because of this she lasted in service until 1960 before finally being retired from service. From then on she had a short carreer on the Credit Valley railroad where she pulled mainline excursions with her running buddy D10 1057. This lasted until around the 1970s wher she was put into storage for a couple decades before being bought by whats now known as the South Simcoe Railway where she was restored to operation in 1998 and currently runs around 3-4 times a year.

I personally had the pleasire of riding behind her during the summer of last year which marked her 140th birthday (as of August 2023) and it inspired me to rebuild this locomotive dispite the challenge of having no blueprints or reliable measurments to work off of, this engine is entirely guess work.
