Description:

This mod is a tool for modders to easily get the map x / y coordinates of any normally accessible area of the campaign map. This is especially useful for scripts which require the coordinates of a location, to for example spawn a new character or move the camera to a specific location.

Mod Details:

To export coordinates of a map location, play any faction and position the faction leader (the character shown in diplomacy) at the location you want to know coordinates of and end your turn. At this time a new file will be created within the Warhammer II folder (SteamsteamappscommonTotal War WARHAMMER II) named like "coordinates_17.01.19_20.00.txt" where the 17.01.19 is the date in dd.mm.yy format and the time at which the file was created. You can repeat this as often as you want, with a new file being created for each end turn export.

The coordinates will be exported in logical and camera format, with the Logical Map Coordinates being used for character positioning on the campaign map in a normal x / y Coordinate System with the lower left being 0 / 0.

Camera Coordinates are a bit different and thus will be exported separately within the same file for use with camera specific scripts. These will have a lot of decimal points for accuracy, but you can largely ignore them and shorten what you input into your script.
