A compact steel mill heated with CNG instead of coal (in game it uses the resource oil). Produces half the annual emissions of a conventional coal-fired steelwork. Due to the higher energy density of CNG compared to coal, it takes 86.2 tons of CNG to replace 184 tons of coal. However, the factory still needs 3 tons of coal (carbon) per day for the production (hardening) of the steel.
Disclaimer: The CNG steel mill variant is 33 percent more expensive compared to Somad’s coal-powered steel mill because It uses more advanced technology.Needs electrical compounds.
