GM Campaign: The Cursed Kingdom – Part 1
Learn about two brothers who are searching for a missing piece in their lives, a powerful sorcerer which cursed the Kingdom of Illuna and meet companions who’ll aid your heroes in their quest.
This first part of the story is sure to give you and 2 friends a few hours of adventure. Added bonus if one of those friends happens to be your real brother. This campaign is created in such a way that your friends have to solve puzzles and take the right actions to overcome obstacles, as i’m not a big fan of the “luck” part in any game (it’s like minesweeper in my opinion, damned last bet makes or breaks the game). So no D20 rolls included. This does not mean that your players won’t deviate from the story so i’m sure there will be opportunity to throw some dice if you want to. For this campaign i’ve written and made:
– 19 books for lore, puzzles, and spells,
– 4 unique story items,
– Divine weapons which (you have to) level down with the players’ characters,
– and about 25 pages of story, GM Guidelines (so you know what to do) and dialog which you can download via the link at the bottom.
– Story is created for a GM and 2 players but can also be adapted for more to join in.
– Players start at level 30.
– Players start with exactly 40k gold.
– Players lose 1 level every 12 minutes they are out of combat (the curse)
– If player goes down to level 10, they turn into chickens (perm status)
– Have a lot of fun.
* Save at the end of the game, this way you remember the names and levels for the next part of The Cursed Kingdom which i am already working on. Once Part 1 and Part 2 are done i’m also gonna release the complete campaign seperately.
I tried finding an active Discord server for GM Mode but could not find one. If you’re playing the GM Mode regularly and want some likeminded people around, join the server.
Loved creating the story and scenes and i will continue working on this project. So if you have any tips or ideas that spring to mind while playing it, leave them in the comments here. With your guys’ help we can make this campaign better than i ever could alone.
