The National Aquatics Center, also known as the ”Water Cube“ and ”Ice Cube“, is located in the Beijing Olympic Park in Chaoyang District, Beijing. It is a high-quality venue for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, and re-used for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games. Thomas Bach, President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), praised the Ice Cube as a model of sustainable development for Olympic venues.
