[WOTC] Spec Ops: The Line – Insurgent Refugee Outfits and Head

This mod adds a custom head and relies on custom shaders to work properly. You MUST have X2WOTCCommunityHighlander installed when using mods that add custom heads and/or shaders!

*Please note that the "Calmer Colors" mod is not a requirement. It is merely a suggestion, as it makes darker colors such as grey and black available as secondary color options (as seen in the above screenshots).

This armor mod adds the outfits (as well as a custom head) of the ragtag Farsi looters/insurgents from Spec Ops: The Line to your XCOM 2 campaign.

The gear options provided include:

• 1 Custom Head
• 1 Upper Face Props
• 3 Lower Face Props
• 13 Helmets
• 7 Torsos
• 5 Arms
• 5 Legs

The Emirati natives that you encounter in SO:TL’s Dubai go by many names: refugees, looters, marauders, insurgents. However, I think "victims" should be added to that list of monikers, as they are undoubtedly the party that suffers the most throughout the whole conflict. Subjugated by an occupying force, killed by both Delta and the 33rd, and treated as disposable canon fodder by Grey Fox – desperate pawns manipulated into doing the CIA’s dirty work. Once ordinary men/citizens of Dubai with normal lives and families, their homes now lay in ruins; razed and decimated by cataclysmic sandstorms. Abandoned by their government and left for dead, these men are forced to fend for themselves. They take to looting and barbarism to stay alive; vagabonds banding together in militia-like troupes. By the end of the game, the majority of them are dead from Delta’s and Grey Fox’s antics, and those few who manage to survive are doomed to die of thirst in the desert – one of the slowest and most agonizing ways to go. You cannot help but pity their fate.

This took a little longer than I expected, but I think I got the mod to a state that I’m content with. Today (February 16th) was my 23rd birthday, so I wanted to upload something to mark the occasion. I might update it later with some changes to the armor tints and whatnot, however that remains to be seen.
