Distinguished Spellweavers & Spellsingers (Read Desc.)
Hey y’all, I just wanted to give all users of my reskin mods fair warning that there are some big changes coming to how I will be formatting and uploading my reskins coming in the future. But firstly, I wanted to thank everyone who used my mods and supported them, whether you gave them awards, rated them, commented, or simply subscribed, you all have encouraged me to continue modding and learning to create better results. However, I am not satisfied with my Distinguished series of reskin mods, though many of them have been successful, I do think that the mods can be much more optimized, have more bug fixes, include more content, and break more barriers when it comes to my standards of modding. Which is why I may be taking down some of if not all of my Distinguished series of reskins in the near future because I do not want these sub-par reskins being my modding legacy, though I will offer an alternative to all of them in the near future.
I know many people enjoy my reskins and I myself like them for what they are, but my next reskin project will overshadow all of my previous projects in both scope and in quality. My plan for the coming weeks is to upload a new massive reskin mod that will include many of the changes and additions from my past Distinguished series of reskins in one big mod, but with much more content than before. I plan for this new mod pack to include some new designs, bug fixes, graphical updates/ enhancements, portraits for any changed lords/ heroes, and even officers for some of the units (take this with a grain of salt as officers have always been iffy but I will try). This will be my biggest mod project to date and will also serve to be a great launchpad to update and add onto as time goes on, without the hassle of having to update several different mods. What will also be good about this new mod will be how I can also easily offer versions that don’t include unit officers and animation changes, and that don’t change the lords and heroes.
If you are skeptical about this new project of mine or you just wish to have the reskins as they are now, then I implore you to download the .pack files of my mods from the workshop folder in the Steam files, they will still work if you have the file simply dropped in the game’s data folder, the mods will also still work in multiplayer if all players have the same mod version. From this point forward I am discontinuing all of my Distinguished series of mods. I will include a link to my new mega pack in all of my Distinguished reskins for some time after it is uploaded, then I will be removing most of them. I hope you all will wait for this new mod and that you are eager about it, though if you are not I still appreciated your support all the same.
