Description:
Sukhoi Su-24 (Fencer)

It is a supersonic tactical bomber made in the Soviet Union. The aircraft has a dual pilot and variable angle wings. The plane is made in 1:1 size and all features are functional, below are the features, workings and warnings.

For other Soviet aircraft

Please if you have a complaint or a feature you want, write it in the comment section.

I finally got rid of constantly making weapon systems, but using a screen on analog Russian planes makes me a little sad.

Dimensions
  • Length: 22,5m
  • Height: 6m
  • Wingspan:
    17,5m fully spread
    10m fully-swept
Features
  • Internal rotary cannon 500 rounds
  • 500 km range
  • 17500 + 2x(1203 fuel tank) liters of fuel
  • 1240 km/h maximum speed
  • 120° C scope Radar: changeable search range, 4km targeting
  • PPI Radar
  • Advanced hud. projectile calculation computer for each ammunition type.

    Landing

    • Hotkey for landing (engine power, landing gear and parachute open automatically)
    • Landing Parachute (automatic only)

    Flight Systems

    • Flight systems do not limit, they all overlap
    • Autopilot
    • Auto pitch (fixes to the height at which it is activated or keypad)
    • Mouse controlled flight
    • Radar controlled flight (it flies to the Locked target)

    Other

    • Flare
    • Auto Flare (dependent on RWR)
    • Missile locking assist
    • Ejection seat (manual and automatic)
    • Radio (must be working?)
    • Landing light, Navlight & Backlight
    • Taxi
    • Gimbal camera
    • RWR
Startup and take off
  • Press button 5 (this will get you 50% throttle)
  • Turn on battery brake
  • Turn on Hydraulic pump
  • Turn on Fuel pump
  • Turn on engine1
  • Turn on engine2

Make sure you have enough distance to pitch up.

Some warnings and clarifications
    Important warnings
  • Should be able to work at Low Physics but may have Problems!
  • You may experience problems at high speed!!
  • After turning on autopilot and/or pitch, increase speed, otherwise the plane may crash!!
  • In nose-down maneuvering, the internal weapon can damage the aircraft.
    Information
  • The radar has a built-in target GPS calculator and is connected to the EHCS to send active data, but I don’t know if it’s working.
  • There is no keyboard for GPS weapons use laser or radar weapons (GPS weapons will try to use the Radar’s GPS).
  • At 500-600km/h it can take damage when the auto wing angle is on (a minor collision issue only applies to low angles).
  • If you are using infinite ammo, turn on the setting in the EHCS controller, otherwise the internal weapon will fire continuously when selected.
  • The 2nd pilot cannot steer the plane with the mouse.
  • For the 2nd pilot, the gimbal camera orientation is always active within the borders of the screen with the mouse.
  • Radar PPI mode does not belong to me and does not fit 3×3 screen. I can update it when the owner of the microcontroller updates it.
    Flight control system
  • All flight systems work on top of each other:
    • If two pilots give opposite commands, the plane remains stationary.
    • With mouse control turned on, both pilots can continue to control the aircraft from the keyboard.
    • The pilot can take over control of the aircraft.
    • When the 2nd pilot takes over the gimball, he cannot control the plane.
    • With autopilot and or pitch open, pilots can continue to control the aircraft (including mouse control).

Some systems and ways of working.
  • Missile lock assist
    • I’ll make it EHCS compliant in missile mode for the Hud in the future and the reticle will be red when locked
    • There is a light and sound system that indicates the missile is locked, these are independent of EHCS.

  • The RWR indicator consists of 8 radars with a range of 1.5 km and scans the entire perimeter of the aircraft.
  • The auto flare is connected to the RWR, if there is a vehicle nearby, it will fire a flare in 1 second.
  • Numbers on keyboards have priority, if you are not going to use them, set it to 0.
  • The automatic launch depends on continuous signals placed at important parts of the aircraft, if a critical place is damaged, the launch will take place, but if the main controller is damaged, the system will not work.
  • Low hydraulic pressure represents pivot damage and is dependent on signals placed near the pivot. The light will turn on if someone gets damaged.
