Description:

Soviet Yard (ex. The Russian yard 2.0), renamed because according to the idea in the yard and precisely the end of the 80s, when the Soviet Union still existed.

What has changed:

First of all, during development, the emphasis was on optimization, for which I had to sacrifice interactivity to improve performance, I decided to give up the ability to open all the furniture and windows, as well as small moving elements of the models. This made it possible to improve productivity and also make the models more detailed and smaller in size.
The scale was also adjusted downwards, by about 7%, which became more consistent with the scale of the original maps, but I do not adhere to the rule that 1 voxel = 1 cm, I also decided, if possible, not to use objects with a changed scale and use them only as a last resort .
Improving productivity provided the resource for the implementation of three entrance houses, which is what I wanted to implement initially, accordingly, the number of interiors will increase by a third, to 60! At the moment, not everyone is ready, of course. It takes me from 5 to 8 hours for one apartment, depending on the number of rooms, so the process is not fast.
The map is currently at approximately the same stage at which the original one was left, and everything that was planned to be implemented in the previous work will already be implemented in this one. In addition to the Khrushchev building itself, there are already garages (iron and brick), a bus stop, a kiosk, a transformer booth (which now really affects the availability of electricity in the building).

Devrlopment plans:

Major updates are planned at intervals of 1-2 months, small fixes, perhaps more often.
– completion of interiors (apartments, garages).

– arrangement of the yard and surroundings
– several new buildings 3-4 (small), which ones I won’t reveal yet, I will share the details in the group.
– electrification and gasification (scripting), I will most likely do this after the implementation of the previous points
– working TV and radio (in parallel with the previous point)
– release of beta version
