Description:

Have you ever got yourself a mod that adds more hair options for you and npcs? Maybe a mod that adds more colors for more variety in character customization and how wildly different npcs can be? But then you stop by the Outpost and suddenly the npcs that have always been the same are suddenly completely different people?

This mod attempts to fix that by assigning an identity to the npcs of the Outpost. As usually their identities are only assigned by a seed, which works fine in a vanilla game to ensure the npcs always look the same. But whenever you add something whether it be more hair options, colors, even idle poses or more names, it throws the rng of the seed out of wack. With an identity though there’s no rng being decided, they’re hard set with values alligning with how they look in a vanilla game. Even the cut Outpost npcs which you might see if you have something like Betabound installed. This even lets you spawn these npcs into your own builds and they’ll look just like they should.

For compatability reasons, I tried to account for a mod that might add hair shine to human and apex, so it is compatable to a fault. Though if there’s a mod that radically alters the races, like turning Avians into Harpies as an example, then you’ll get weird looking npcs. Same for a mod that’ll add new values for customization. So be warned about what mods you might have.
