Thaylenah (The Cosmere)

The Cosmere is a fictional fantasy universe of books and short stories written by the author Brandon Sanderson

From Alethkar to Aimia, every nation on Roshar has done business with Thaylenah. Every port is home to at least a dozen Thaylen merchant ships, and even cities in the middle of the continent are visited by Thaylen caravans. This economic empire has stood for hundreds of years, protected by Thaylenah’s unmatched domination over the southern seas and its veteran admiralty.

Civilization Ability: Council of Captains

• All Great Admirals have an additional charge.
• Great people are 15% less expensive to Patronize with Gold.

Unique Unit: Brigantine

• Thaylen unique Renaissance era Naval Ranged unit.
• Has 3 Range and Sight.
• Low defensive Combat Strength.

Unique Building: Wet Dock

• A building unique to Thaylenah that replaces the Shipyard.
• +50% combat experience for all naval units trained in this city.
• Coastal tiles in this city gain +2 Gold and +1 Production for each unique district adjacent to them.
• Bonus Production equal to the adjacency bonus of the Harbor district.
• +2 Great Admiral points.

Leader Ability: Trading Fleets

• International Trade Routes gain +2 Gold for each Fishing Boat improvement in both the origin and destination cities.
• Gold bonus from Fishing Boats increases to +3 after researching Mercantilism, and +4 after Globalization.
• Cannot form domestic Trade Routes.
