Lost in Tokyo – Coronavirus Release!
"Excuse me, just like everyone else in this city, I’m going to put on my face mask!" – Russel Totten, NHK
Welcome to Tokyo!
This release is actually way ahead of its original plan, and because everyone’s getting pretty bored in quarantine, I decided to release it, in it’s current state.
Believe it or not, this map is nowhere near complete. This map is based after the most popular (and hidden) places in the country of Japan. Not only is this map a simulation of Tokyo transportation systems, and beyond, but it is also a gateway to more (hopefully!) Japanese/Asian based content. Notably, this map is currently Rolling Line’s biggest, which explains why it’s only in the earliest release.
Feedback, and suggestions are welcomed!
Within the map, you may find: (Some, not available just yet.)
-Tokyo Station
-Lines based after several real rail lines that have stations from their real counterparts
-Stores and brands that exist in the real world
-A music playlist that’s separately downloadable that can be played in the map
-Proper Kanji characters
-Anime references (are you surprised?)
-Temples
-Realistic terrain
-References and shout-outs to players within (and outside) the community, such as Gaugepunk, Space, Shini, Frantic, and much more!
If you have a weak computer, yikes, it won’t be much of anything after this.
